History
- On July 6, 2014 TRACE officially opened a 7 km extention of the „Bypass of Vratsa Road“.
- On August 19, 2013 the 8 km section of Hemus Motorway was opened, the connection with the “Bypass of Sofia Road” and Yana Intersection
- On August 31, 2012 the Chairman of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, cut the ribbon to open the second metro line. TRACE took part in its construction by building the metrostations in the centre - "National Palace of Culture", "European Union" and "James Bourchier".
- On July 1, 2012 LOT 2 of Trakia Motorway was open to traffic - Stara Zagora - Nova Zagora.
- On April 25, 2012 the Chairman of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, opened the Sofia Metro Section newly bult by TRACE:
Mladost Housing Estate 1 - Mladost Housing Estate 3 - "Tsarigradsko Shose".
- November, 2011: "Trace Group Hold" PLC celebrates its 15th anniversary and opened a new head office in Sofia.
- 2010: "Trace Group Hold" PLC begins the construction of LOT 2 of Trakia Motorway.
- 2009: The company expands its activity in the environmental field and becomes actively involved in bulding the largest integrated water projects in Bulgaria.
- 2008: "Trace Group Hold" PLC extends its construction activity by establishing lasting positions in building metros in superstructures.
- "Trace Group Hold" PLC expands its activity abroad. Established subsidiaries in Oman and Serbia.
- December, 2007: "Trace Group Hold" PLC becomes a public company. With its apperance on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, the company scores a record with its initial public offering of 200,000 shares.
- 2007: "Trace Group Hold" PLC marks its 10th anniversary with an official reception at the National Historic Museum in Sofia.
- May, 2007: "Trace Group Hold" PLC finishes the construction of LOT 1 of Trakia Motorway.
- 2005: "Trace Group" JSC is the name of the restructured subsidiary of "Trace Group Hold" PLC under “Construction Company Trace" JSC.
- 2004: "Trace Group Hold" PLC is established. The holding's seats are located in Sofia and Stara Zagora and the other offices are in Burgas, Sliven, Yambol, Kardzhali, Smolyan and Kazanlak. The holding is an entirely private joint-stock company and this is the starting point to overcome all difficulties on the market.
- 2003: "Trace Group" JSC is established. There are 14 companies in the holding's structure, the leading one – “PSI” JSC. The holding manages industrially related companies and controls their production, financing, managing and human potential.
- 2002: "Patstroyinzhenering" JSC is renamed to "PSI" JSC.
- 1997: Their capital becomes 100% private. The state announces privatization of 65% of the company's capital. This is one of the preferred companies for any investment bonds depositors. Over the years of economic transformations and recession in Bulgaria, the company was debt-free, with positive financial results and won projects for reconstruction and rehabilitation of the national road network.
- 1995: "Patstroyinzhenering" Ltd. is transformed into a sole-member joint-stock company. The company carried out the rehabilitation of the Stara Zagora - Popovitsa Road. The project was financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank. "Patstroyinzhenering" Ltd. won a tender of the Project Management Group and Transproject for rehabilitation of an international road Calafat – Vidin’s Ring Road, financed under the "Phare" Program.
- 1993: On April 27, 1993, by Decision of the Council of Ministers, some of the assets of District Road Administration - Stara Zagora are transferred and "Patstroyinzhenering" Ltd. was established. Eng. Nikolay Mihaylov is the company's manager.
- 1946: Stara Zagora District Road Administration - construction of a new road network, asphalting and reconstruction of roads on the territory of Stara Zagora District.
- 1938: The General Construction Directorate is established in Bulgaira with 7 district and 50 regional engineering departments open, among which is that in Stara Zagora.
- 1883: On April 3, 1883, by a Royal Prince’s Decree No. 267 the Law for construction, repairing and maintenance of district roads was adopted, marking the beginning of State Administration for the Construction and Maintenance of the Bulgarian Road Network.
