Trace Group Hold will impose sanctions to the managerial team of Mostinjenering JSC
09.01.2008
The management of Trace Group Hold will impose sanctions to the managerial team of Most engineering JSC - Yambol in relation to the crisis satuation with snow cleaning in the area of Petolachkata.
The management of Trace Group Hold, having studied situation in detail, is of opinion that, despite overwhelming difficulties, it was possible extraordinary measures to be employed and mobilise additional resources for the purposes of dealing with the crisis in shorter terms. In view of that, a decision was drawn to sanction the managerial team of the company and managers of snow cleaning on the aforementioned road segment by last notice for firing, one month salary and exemption of additional payments for three months.
Presently some companies (PSI JSC, Rodopa Trace EOOD, PSF-Mostinjenering JSC and Stroyinjenering EOOD) implement contracts for winter maintenance. Total length of roads maintained of Holding's subsidiary companies is above 1,600 kilometres which equals to almost ten percent of total country road network. In the scope of contract re mountain passes Hainboaz and Shipka as well as major and secondary roads on the territory of Gurkovo, Kazanlak, Chirpan, Devin, Yambol, Straldzha, Kardjali, Momchilgrad and Ardino.
The total price of all aforementioned contract is about 2.5 million Bulgarian Leva. Related to consolidated income out of sales of Trace Group Hold PLC for the last year (111.9 Million Bulgarian Leva), this represents some 2.14 percent of group activity.
PSF-Mostinjenering JSC - Yambol maintains some 389 kilometres of roads out of which 232 kilometres are on Yambol Road Regional Agency and some 157 kilometres fall on the Straldzha Road Regional Agency territory. In the Straldzha Road Regional Agency territory falls section of main road I-6 in the area of Petolachkata with length of 7.1 kilometres.
Due to the extremely bad coincidence of circumstances (hurricane winds, snow whirl, lacking experience and discipline of machinists, underestimation of situation), said section has been blocked by unmoving vehicles and snow-cleaning machinery for almost 24 hours of the night facing 3 January 2008.
It was announced yesterday by the National Road Infrastructure Fund that the contract with Mostinjenering JSC will be dumped and the company will be fined in amount of 20 percent of the monthly payment for winter maintenance of the road section in the area of Petolachkata.
