Dipl. Eng. Stoyko Meshkov received “Trace Group” Builder of the Year 2019 award

The construction of E75 Highway, in the southern part of the Pan European Corridor №10 in the Republic of Serbia - Grdelica – Caricina Dolina Section was the 5-year long challenge that the young team of Dipl. Eng. Stoyko Meshkov faced. The successful completion of the project in May, 2019 was the real recognition of all the colleagues that were engaged during the construction process.

In the ceremony night the hall burst into applause when the Chairman of “Trace Group” Management Board Mrs. Dessislava Lubenova announced the name of the first among equal engineers – Dipl. Eng. Stoiko Meshkov – “Trace Group” Builder of the Year 2019.

In her speech Mrs. Lubenova said: “This year 48 colleagues from the management team of “Trace Group Hold” Plc had the opportunity to nominate their colleagues. This nomination is of particular added value because actually you are being distinguished from colleagues you are competing with". During awarding the prize, Ms. Lubenova congratulated Dipl. Eng. Meshkov for his outstanding zeal, perseverance, and character and commented: "This award is precious for all of us, because Dipl. Eng. Meshkov works with a team of mainly young people and for them this was the biggest and hardest challenge ever and they handled it in a wonderful manner. They left a trace and constructed a road, which defended the professionalism of the Bulgarian builders abroad. As the Serbian Employer repeatedly thanked for the executed construction  works, because was aware about the difficulties and force majeure circumstances, which Bulgarian team had to face there, so we now say "Hvala (“Thank you” in Serbian language), Dipl. Eng. Meshkov, hvala (“thank you” in Serbian language), colleagues."

The 12th “Trace Group” Special Award winner Dipl. Eng. Meshkov said with words coming from his heart: “Our team is of young experts only and every one of them is here tonight. We are Serbian and Bulgarian engineers in the team… this award is yours too! I would like to thank all the “Trace Group” colleagues who appreciated the work we have done in the Republic of Serbia. Any project is not possible to be completed by one person and by one team only; we have completed the project with the support of the entire group of Trace companies. They were all behind us and helped us when machines were out of reach or when we needed help with additional staff, with solutions, with their work. I would like to express my gratitude to Dipl. Eng. Delchev for his great support, to Prof. Mihaylov, who, despite the difficulties, has always said that we would be able to deal with this - he gave everyone the strength to continue".

The winner Dipl. Eng. Meshkov received a small copy of the sculpture made by the author Stavri Kalinov, which is called "The Road is Life" and is placed in its real size in front of Trace office building in the city of Stara Zagora. The winner also got 2860 registered shares of “Trace Group Hold” at the amount of BGN 10,000.

The celebration continued with Trace Theatrical Christmas party. For a third year in a row, partners, friends and colleagues of Trace Group experienced an exciting theatrical night. The theatre performance that Trace gave to its guests and staff was "Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll", with the participation of Prof. Ivaylo Hristov, Dobrin Vekilov-Doni and Katseto Kalki – one of the most popular and talented Bulgarian artists.
